Although the setting of Dead Island Riptide is an idyllic island, nothing that happens there has anything to do with the paradisiacal islets, since the coconuts, fish and spectacular landscapes have been replaced by horrendous creatures that won't leave you alone in this action role-playing title that enjoys a survival horror base.
Due to the success of the first installment the same has been perfectly captured in that game by adding another character. All of them have certain abilities, having to take advantage of them to have an advantage in the complicated situations that you will live in the horrifying island. In case you enjoy the first Dead Island, it's possible to load the character with all the improvements made, although this will mean a harder AI that will result in very dangerous creatures as long as you don't find it easy to complete the story.
Nerves are already palpable from the first moment after the accident that makes you a survivor along with other people with whom you will have to collaborate to stay alive one more day on an island full of details, from shelters to rivers by which you can navigate. Certain Dead Island Riptide missions will be truly complicated for you, and you can choose to move away from the main plot to bluff and have more possibilities when it comes to dealing with evil creatures. Yet some hordes are so numerous that the task of keeping a certain place intact will become a challenge.
